Thanks for your “thyme”

On June 10, 2010 the UMFA hosted the annual Volunteer Recognition Event, and we were honored to have Dean Raymond Tymas-Jones address our volunteers.  The event began with afternoon tea.  Amy Edwards, Volunteer Coordinator, presented her remarks, thanking the volunteers for their “joy, knowledge, passion, humor, and experience” and the “positive change” they provide for each visitor.  Dean Tymas-Jones thanked them for making the Utah Museum of Fine Arts “a better place.”  Awards were presented to docents for their 5th, 10th, and 25th year of service.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please visit our website: http://umfa.utah.edu/volunteer.
