The series opens with “Footnote” (2011, Israel). Eliezer and Uriel Shkolnik are father and son as well as rival professors in Talmudic Studies. When both men learn that Eliezer will be lauded for his work, their complicated relationship reaches a new peak.

Prior to each film, a visit to related museum artworks will set the stage for the discussion of the film by an anthropologist with expertise in the world region. The Museum tour will start at 6:30 pm and the film will begin at 7:00 pm. The program will conclude with a post-film discussion.

Please note that the films contain adult content.

We hope to see you there!
